About us and the job
This is an in-house position, contract to permanent, and we are not interested in outsourcing to an off-site firm or being contacted by recruiters.
We’re a small, yet established—14+ years—web design and development firm located near the South Park neighborhood, South of Market Street in San Francisco. We are looking for an HTML/CSS producer to do web production and development. We work for medium sized organizations as well as Fortune 500 enterprises. Our recent clients include Wired.com and Verizon Wireless.
We love learning and you should expect to learn new techniques and technologies here, but you should also be able to hit the ground running with the required skill set outlined below. We always have numerous projects going on simultaneously, so you should be comfortable managing your time and managing multiple tasks. We’re dedicated to meeting and exceeding client expectations and deadlines, but we also believe in having lives outside of work. We occasionally work long hours to meet our standards, but we don’t live in a meat grinder world.
About you
You should be passionate about the web and web standards, but flexible enough to work in the real world. You’ll need to share our passion for meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations and for keeping our promises. You should be a tenacious problem solver not easily given over to frustration.
You should love to work in a collaborative, supportive environment that appreciates humor. You will be expected to work directly with clients, so your communications skills must be excellent and you should enjoy people.
