Company History

Quinn Interactive (originally Lightside Group) was founded in 1994 by Phil Quinn in Chico, CA. While building the design firm, Phil taught Graphic Design and Advanced Web Design courses at California State University, Chico.

When Quinn Interactive began, its business was split equally between print, identity, and Web design/interactive work. In the last few years, however, Web and interactive media design have accounted for a majority of our business, with identity a strong second, and print media accounting for only a small fraction of our work.

In April of 2000, Phil moved the web design company to the San Francisco Bay, and renamed it Quinn Interactive to better reflect the nature of its current work.

In addition to a new company name and hometown in the Bay Area, Quinn Interactive incorporated. The incorporation benefits the company, employees and clients alike and ensures Quinn Interactive is prepared for its continued growth into the new millennium.
